In the early days most of the coal from Hatfield was transported by rail. These are the wagon repairers who were there in the 1960s

This team worked in the North West circa 1983
The North West area was the last area to be developed at Hatfield before it's closure after the strike. The three gents on the right were deputy officials at that time.
